"How many cameras were on you?!" Joey or Chandler to Monica on "Friends" when she said the camera adds 10 pounds

Good Lord, I got the pics back from the race a few weeks back. Reality check. There were many. I will admit to only these 2. I may not blog for awhile as I am either researching proper nutrition for losing weight while training and/or I am falling off the wagon and need both hands to feed my face.

I am healthy! I am having fun! I am not the largest lady out there! However....I could go faster and with less effort if I was less well-insulated. And I want to race in a sports bra.

Oh hush! You look good. Most of the rest of us can only dream, to be in as good of shape.

From one "over-insulated" athlete to another.....the pics were nice. Was that a group of girls in the tri-club that you routinely ride with? I like the quote for this section...I'd never caught that line before. I always say...I just want to lose weight so that how I look actually matches how I feel I look. Being fit and active can fool your brain into thinking you look more like your ideal self than one really does. You, again, made me giggle with your parting comments. My money is on you reading the nutrition books vs. needing both hands to stuff your face full of your favs.

Tori is on my right...she finished 30 sec ahead of me and we did train together for this race. We were both swimmers and it's our second year racing so it makes sense. She's funny too. Katie, all the way on my right, also did some training at the lake with us but left us in the dust. She qualified for age group nationals in 30-34y bracket. Held in KC July 8. Go Katie!

Sorry 'bout that, gonna try to spell the words right this time...anyway...

What I was attempting to say was, based on the recent photos I've seen of you, no complaints here. You are as beautiful now as you were close to twenty years ago...

I'm not sure how you manage to accomplish this, but I suspect that a rigorous excersise schedule doesn't hurt.

Good for you, I am proud of your accomplishments.
